I suggest this one: [1] shouldn't be any copyright issues. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 159.53.46.141 (talk) 00:58, 7 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Most Tries in a Match

[edit]

Which is correct, the list on this page? or this one?--Jeff79 21:30, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Debut

[edit]

The Brisbane Broncos Players page has Renouf listed as playing from 1989. This page cites 1988. Which is correct?--Jeff79 20:52, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Those Weasel words in the lead-in

[edit]

Must say I've got a problem with " known generally as one of the best centres in the history of the game .........and is considered one of the greatest footballers to have played for the club". This may be so, but without citations I think we have to let his records speak for themselves in this regard and delete these weasel word assertions. Any problems anyone ? -Sticks66 09:51, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you really don't think they're true, you've got the right to remove them (they're not my words by the way). I leave them because I understand them to be true and thus don't think they really make the article sound too unprofessional. Of course I understand that that's not an effective argument for putting them back if you take them out. But I'm really only moved to delete content from articles if I'm disputing it, or if it makes the article seem to have been written by some kid (see Jonathan Thurston). I don't mind either way though, I'm not really attached to those sentences.--Jeff79 (talk) 10:14, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
